Last Thursday, the 26th of March, COTES Engineering launched the Open Open lectures for everyone and with that presented online meetups. From now and on a weekly basis we will share with general public useful and actual information about power industry. We will talk about own know-hows, interesting projects, global trends and innovations as well.
For several years we used to share useful information, interesting reports and research results for internal use. It is an in-house tradition that was established by COTES, first of all, to help our divisions to better understand the work of each other, to widen the horizons of each engineer and project manager. A project completed always means the team work of various professionals. Therefore, understanding the work specifics of a related division could facilitate the process and minimize the number of collisions and conflicts between the sections of a basic design documentation.
COTES’ employees have always pleased to take part in the Open lectures. They were listening, asking questions and giving a speech by themselves. Since April we planned to scale up the event, by making the event public. The students and professors of engineering universities, our colleagues and partners would have been invited to presentations. The current situation forced us to launch this earlier, however, in online format for a time. When it will be possible, we are going to combine off-line meetups and live streaming.
A good opportunity to not waste your self-isolation days!
